The Best Wedding Venues in Florida

You've probably heard it a million times, "your venue should be the first vendor you book". It sounds easy enough but when there's dozens of gorgeous venues, how do you possibly choose? Florida is the home to so many unique locations to get married, from beach front to ballrooms to wide open landscapes, you really can't go wrong. As a traveling wedding photographer, I often help my couples find the perfect place for them! I wanted to make this list of the best wedding venues so that you have a one stop shop to any type of venue you're looking for. So, let's get into it!!

FOR THE LUXURIOUS WEDDINGS

Montverde, Florida

This venue is a showstopper. With 6 different event spaces, the variety is insane. You can choose from The Siena Event Room, The Wine Cellar, The Ballroom, The Ballroom Veranda, The Reflection Pool, or my personal favorite, The Grand Lawn. It's full of Tuscany inspired elements and has gorgeous details in every corner. It's definitely an upscale, high-end vibe that really takes your breath away. And the stunning views aren't the only plus to this venue! They have a wide range of amenities including a full culinary team as well as an in-house catering staff that will really alleviate any additional stress you may have when it comes to food options. All of that being said, if you're wanting an all-out royal style wedding, this is THE PLACE.

FOR THE ARTSY WEDDING

Sarasota, Florida

Maybe you're looking for a venue that really leans into the artsy side of your vision. The Ringling Museum is the perfect choice for that. With stunning colors and textures, this venue offers such a unique twist on a wedding space. You can tie the knot surrounded by Greek inspired statues or in front of the Ca' d'Zan's Belvedere Tower, which is a beautiful structure adorned with stain glass windows, accented walls and surrounded by a view of the water. The Ringling hosts about 30-40 weddings per year and can start as little as $1500 for a small elopement. Definitely one to keep on your list!

FOR THE RUSTIC WEDDING

Naples, Florida

As time goes on, what I've realized is this: rustic is here to stay! And I'm not mad about it. Naples Wedding Barn provides such a stunning backdrop for a country style wedding. Not only that, but it has amazing pricing for couples on a budget! With their wedding pricing starting at only $3000 for a weekday celebration, it's a great option if you're needing a more cost-effective venue. Don't be fooled by the price though because this venue sits on 7,600 sq. feet of land that you'll have access to on your big day. Antiques are found throughout the entire Barn and surrounding areas to provide that vintage feel. Did I mention they're also a functioning horse farm? This venue literally has it all!!!

FOR THE INDUSTRIAL WEDDING

Lakeland, Florida

One of my new favorite trends for weddings is the unique pops of color and industrial twists that are arising. Exposed pipes, brick and cement are all such organic touches that really make a wedding venue stand out. Haus 820 is the epitome of a modern space. What started as a grocery store has become a striking place to tie the knot. It has the coolest bridal suite I've ever seen and on top of that, it features an incredible color wall for all you couples who aren't afraid of a little pop! Their pricing is great, starting at just $2,250 for a Monday celebration and $7,00 for a Saturday celebration! Literally, a STEAL!

FOR THE BOHO WEDDING

Dade City, Florida

Now I know what you're thinking, it's impossible to find a woodsy feeling venue in Florida, right? Well, Laurelwood Gardens is a great boho option if you're hoping for whimsical trees, tall soft grass and an open slate for all your boho vibes. You can get married under a beautiful three-hundred-year-old oak tree. Yes, THREE HUNDRED. Insane. Then, you are welcome to frolic through the remaining 100-acre piece of land surrounding this stunning estate. What could be more whimsical than that? They even provide a selection of centerpieces and a decorated archway for your ceremony.

FOR THE BEACHY WEDDING

Rosemary Beach, Florida

A venue along the coast that offers 5 different locations along the property to make sure you have the view that you deserve. With this venue, you don't have to choose between the gorgeous beach waves and a relaxed indoor reception. You can have BOTH!! Rosemary Beach Weddings offers a large array of selected vendors to make your choices smoother but the best part, they allow YOU to choose your photographer and videographer! I may be bias, but I'd love to capture you walking down the aisle to the sound of the waves crashing behind you.

FOR THE TRADITIONAL WEDDING

Safety Harbor, Florida

If all of these venues sound incredible but you were hoping to stick with a more traditional setting, the Harborside Wedding Chapel could be the venue for you. You don't have to forfeit the modern look with this stunning church built in 2017. Everything about this chapel is crisp, clean and new. About a 10-minute drive from the coast, you really can have it all! They offer a wide range of packages so you can choose to depart after the ceremony or stay and celebrate!

Well, I hope this list helped you to find some venues that fit your style. If there's anything I'm missing, feel free to let me know so I can add it to the list! I'm always on the hunt for new venues!
